The fact that goat milk as ingredient in beauty products has all kinds of benefits for our skin, does not go unnoticed in the beauty industry. Therefore, Ziaja, online drugstore & natural cosmetics store, took the opportunity to use this beautiful ingredient in their beauty products. As a result, Ziaja even processed a special Goat’s Milk collection into their assortment. The Goat’s Milk collection has a total of 22 products consisting of hair, body and skincare items. Most importantly, all of the Ziaja Goat’s Milk skin care products contain goat milk extract as the main ingredient. For instance, goat milk will hydrate the deeper layers of the skin, provide a supplement of natural nutrients, increase the skin’s renewal process, smoothe small wrinkles and effectively soothe irritations. In short, goat milk will ensure a more beautiful and hydrated skin.
Ziaja asked me to try 3 products from their Goat’s Milk collection. Of course I chose skincare and eventually went for the Milky Face Wash, Night Cream and Enzyme Peeling Face & Neck. In this article I’ll introduce you to Ziaja, the 3 skincare products and my review of the products/collection.
About Ziaja – Focus On Skin
Ziaja – Focus On Skin is an online drugstore & natural cosmetics store. Most importantly, Ziaja sells all kinds of beauty products such as skin care, body care and hair care. Ziaja has various different kinds of collections within their range of products that focus on certain skin and hair types or ingredients. There are three different types of Ziaja ranges: Ziaja – cosmetics for daily care, Denova Pro – with a somewhat stronger effect which has the quality of a beauty salon product (there are currently three beauticians in NL who only work with Denova Pro) and Ziaja Med – cosmetics with a medical effect for problematic skin.
Furthermore, Ziaja strives to be as eco-friendly as possible. For example, there’s no animal testing, they use palm oil from sustainable plantations, recyclable packaging, they have zero waste policy (minimum plastic in packaging), environmentally friendly production and almost all products are vegan. To clarify, ut of more than 1000 products, only 69 products contain ingredients of animal origin. These ingredients are beeswax, lanolin, keratin from sheep’s wool and silk. However, the goat milk line (the products I’m testing in this article) does not contain real goat milk, but a laboratory fabricated variant.
Ziaja Goat’s Milk Milky Face Wash
The Milky Face Wash from the Ziaja goat’s milk collection is a gentle cleanser inspired by K-Beauty facials. The Milky Face Wash gently cleanses and smoothes the skin. Most importantly, the cleanser aims to give the feeling of fresh and healthy skin after cleansing your face. The key ingredients in the cleanser are: goat milk complex, hyaluronic acid and olive oil.
Ziaja Goat’s Milk Night Cream
With goat milk complex and vitamin A as key ingredients the Ziaja Goat’s Milk Night Cream effectively softens, moisturizes and firms the skin. The Night Cream will replenish the shortage of natural nourishing substances. In addition, the night cream increases the skin’s renewal process and smoothes small wrinkles.
Ziaja Goat’s Milk Enzyme Peeling Face & Neck
The Ziaja Goat’s Milk Enzyme Peeling Face & Neck is yet another product that’s inspired by by the K-Beauty facials. It’s a gentle peeling for the skin and meant to be used kind of like a face mask. You apply the peeling, leave it for 5-10 minutes and rinse it off. Above all, the main purpose of the peeling with goat’s milk complex, papain enzyme and provitamin B5 (D-panthenol) is to remove dead epidermal cells and prepare the skin for further treatments.
Review Ziaja Goat’s Milk Skin Care Products
To wrap it all up, my experience with these Ziaja Goat’s Milk skin care products so far has been splendid. All of the Ziaja products are extremely affordable and of marvelous quality! For example, the Milky Face Wash comes in at a price of €3,09 and it’s my favourite product out of all three Ziaja products I’ve tried. What I love about the Milky Face Wash is the fact that it does not foam and has a divine creamy formula that nourishes your skin. Similarly, I enjoyed the night cream as well. It’s an downright thick night cream, but doesn’t feel sticky or nasty. I am still discovering the Milk Enzyme Peeling, but after the first use I got no complaints.
Even though I’m really satisfied with the products and the quality, I do realize that the brand and products aren’t fascinating to me. To clarify, these products don’t give me that wow factor I’m always looking for when trying new brands. Maybe it’s the non-spectacular packaging or the fact that the skincare products aren’t revolutional on their own but rather just like other products in their range. However, I’m not saying the products are bad. The brand Ziaja and the products are still appealing, but there’s just something missing for me.
