Charcoal in skin care products is super popular. The ingredient can often be found in the black nose strips or peel-off masks. I myself have also tested several products containing charcoal. Maybe you can even remember one of those articles. The skin benefits from charcoal is that the activated charcoal draws bacteria, poisons, chemicals, dirt and other micro-particles to the surface of skin, helping you to achieve a flawless complexion and fight acne. I decided to write a Balea Charcoal Sheet Mask review to see if the purifying skin benefits work with activated charcoal sheet masks as well.
At the moment I’m no longer a big fan of peel-off masks, because they can also pull offthe good particles of skin. However, I did find a charcoal sheet mask at the DM drugstore. The Balea Charcoal Sheet Mask is from the drugstore house brand and comes at a price of €0.95.
The Balea charcoal sheet mask is full of active ingredients, such as salicylic acid and zinc contained in the formula help when used regularly, to fight pimple-causing bacteria and prevent new impurities. To clarify, these are the skin benefits caused by the activated charcoal as ingredient, which is the key focus of this mask.
The soft material of the sheet mask with bamboo activated carbon fibers helps the mask to nestle gently against the skin. Above all, the sheet mask combines nourishing and clarifying properties for refreshed and relaxed skin. Further, the mask is suitable for combination and impure skin and fit for vegans as well.
Did My Skin Benefit From The Charcoal Sheet Mask?
Oh yes, my skin really enjoyed this sheet mask! My Balea Charcoal Sheet Mask leaves a positive result! After use, my skin felt cleansed and purified. I can’t prove if it actually drew any dirt from my skin, but it sure did feel refreshed and I could see a result I liked. To sum up, I liked the mask and it did exactly what it needed to do for the price point it came at. I’ve got nothing to complain!
